On Thursday 2nd February 2023 (Candlemas) I was fortunate to witness the consecration of a Bishop at Canterbury Cathedral: it’s not something you see everyday.

Although there were times when the use of cameras were prohibited (official photographers had the monopoly, and righty so!), I did manage to capture a few select moments before and after Fr Paul Thomas SSC was consecrated as the Bishop of Oswestry.

The 10 hours spent driving to and from was a very small price to pay to be part of such a wonderful event.
